The Ballistol Universal Oil has been the absolute classic among gun care oils for over 115 years, as it is ideal for cleaning, maintaining, and preserving weapons of all kinds.
The oil reliably removes combustion residues, bullet lubricants, as well as lead, copper, and tombak deposits, allowing the weapon to regain its original precision. At the same time, the oil forms an alkaline protective film and can also be used for the care of leather straps and wooden stocks. Brittle, dry leather becomes soft and elastic again right after the first application. Additionally, it has an impregnating effect, protecting against water and decay, and provides a silky matte shine.

Furthermore, the universal oil dissolves rust and serves as a lubricant. It also neutralizes light acids such as sweat. It does not age or gum up, and thanks to its low surface tension and high creep ability, it penetrates even the tightest corners of fine hairline cracks. Even old stubborn dirt and resins from unsuitable oils are effortlessly removed by Ballistol.
