Ballistol Silencer Cleaner 500ml

The Ballistol Silencer Cleaner automatically dissolves and neutralizes combustion residues in the silencer.
In particular, non-disassemblable or carbon-made silencers are usually difficult to clean, as delicate baffles and rows of holes increase the silencer's performance but significantly complicate the cleaning process. With the Ballistol Silencer Cleaner, however, residues in the dirty silencer can be easily dissolved and flushed out - without the need for additional tools.

The non-disassemblable silencer is simply sealed from one side with a conical muzzle plug, while it is completely filled with the pure cleaner from the other side. Once the contaminants in the silencer are dissolved and neutralized, the cleaner indicates this by a color change as a dissolving indicator. The exposure time for normal contamination is about 2 hours; after that, you empty the silencer and fill it halfway with water. Seal or hold the opening tightly, and shake vigorously. Repeat this process as often as necessary until no solid particles are flushed out of the silencer. For heavy contamination, the effect can be enhanced by warming the cleaner to 40 °C before application and extending the exposure time to four to eight hours. In cases of extreme contamination, or if several hundred shots have been fired with the silencer, the exposure time can even be increased to 24 hours.

Disassemblable silencers and silencers that cannot be sealed can simply be immersed in the cleaner. With normal contamination, the residues in the silencer are dissolved after about 2 hours and can be flushed out with a brush and water. The silencer cleaner is also suitable for ultrasonic baths.

The cleaner contains surfactants and does not attack common materials. However, it is generally recommended to test each cleaner for compatibility on a small area due to the many different materials and surfaces.

The cleaner is acid-free, odorless, and biodegradable, making it easy and safe to dispose of in household drains.
