The 8x50 is versatile. It excels both when stationary and on the stalk, as well as in nature and wildlife observation, with its very high light transmission and a large field of view of 117 m. A large field of view offers the advantage that game is detected more quickly, giving the hunter more time for precise targeting. Furthermore, the new models use Schott glass for the prisms of the binoculars.

The significantly increased light transmission, especially in the blue-violet spectral range, not only ensures higher image brightness but also improves color reproduction and significantly enhances twilight vision.

The Leica Ultravid HD-Plus binoculars thus provide a brighter image along with an increased contrast range in all observation situations, particularly in difficult lighting conditions. The binoculars in the Ultravid series are waterproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging.
