Leica Ultravid HD-Plus 7x42

The Leica Ultravid 7x42 HD-Plus is designed for comfortable and ergonomic handling, and impresses with 7x magnification and increased transmission.
Although the models of the 42 HD-Plus series are among the most compact binoculars in their class, they are hardly inferior to the larger 50 models in terms of light intensity. They also have high light reserves for poor visibility conditions, making them ideal for use in late twilight with 7x magnification. A remarkably steady image is always achieved, as disturbances such as hand tremors are not transmitted.

The binoculars, made of magnesium and titanium and covered with a rubber armor, fit ergonomically and securely in the hands. Being waterproof and nitrogen-filled, the binoculars withstand the heaviest rain and high humidity without fogging up. Thanks to the AquaDura coating, water droplets bead off directly, and dirt can be easily removed. The shock-resistant housing provides double protection.

After a complete overhaul of the optics, Leica has managed to increase the transmission by a full 5%. This was achieved through new highly transmissive HAT glass from Schott, which improved light transmission, especially in the blue and violet light spectrum, resulting in a brighter image, better color reproduction, and a larger contrast spectrum. Additionally, a plasma coating enhances light transmission.

The binoculars have a field of view of 140 m at 1000 m and weigh only 765 g. In classic design, the Ultravid HD-Plus is recognizable by the red HD engraving.

The binoculars are also suitable for eyeglass wearers.

Included in the delivery is a contoured neoprene carrying strap, a lens cover, an eyepiece cover, and a high-quality Cordura case.
