With the Vortex Cantilever Ring Mount, it is possible to mount scopes with a tube diameter of 30 mm very low on an AR-15. Due to the far-forward mounting, the robust Vortex mount is perfectly suited to extend the eye relief to the optic. With a very low weight of 191 grams and an extension of either 2 inch (50.8 mm) or 3 inch (76.2 mm), it is a reliable mount with a good price-performance ratio.
