Kriss Vector V2 Airsoft in Dark Earth - max. 0.5 Joule (Krytac)

The Kriss Vector AEG from Krytac can be described without exaggeration as the absolute highlight of 2017. Due to the huge demand, production has been completely booked out for months. For this reason, this AEG will be released first in the USA on June 30, 2017. We received the first shipment for Germany in October 2017.

All dimensions of the new KRYTAC® KRISS® Vector AEG are 1:1 identical to its original model. Additionally, the KRYTAC® KRISS® Vector AEG comes with some special extras such as an original licensed folding stock, ambidextrous fire selector switch, MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Top Rail, MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Bottom Accessory Rail, as well as a Trident Flashider with 14mm left thread.

Inside, it features a vertically mounted gearbox with V2 compatible gears, piston, piston head, and cylinder. The gearbox spring is pulled by a short-type motor and is guided by a ball-bearing spring guide.

The 0.5 version of the Kriss naturally has semi-automatic, double-shot burst, and fully automatic fire mode settings, which are activated by microswitches and controlled by the integrated 3034 MOSFET in the gearbox.

In terms of function, it differs from the versions available abroad only by the reduced energy to 0.5 Joules, which also makes it exactly what it was designed for, the perfect CQB weapon!

Other highlights include the installed KRYTAC® Rotary Hop Up and the installed 155mm inner barrel.

The KRISS comes with a 95 round midcap magazine, which we really appreciate.

Why no Shortstroking?

In shortstroking, the gears and the teeth of the piston are ground down. We believe that this alteration can negatively affect the durability of the gears or the piston (but does not have to). Therefore, we offer two alternative options for energy reduction:

1. Spring Throttling

With spring throttling, the disadvantage is that the weaker spring affects the shot noise. However, with this type of energy reduction, the advantage is that no other changes need to be made to the system. The screwed retaining pin is glued in this variant to comply with legal regulations in Germany.

2. Volume-Reduction

The volume-reduction allows the use of a strong spring. This results in a crisper shot noise and provides the advantages of shortstroking without its disadvantages. With volume-reduction, nothing is drilled or milled.
