His credo is that the first and absolute requirement for functionality in a knife does not have to exclude aesthetics. In this way, he seamlessly fits into the tradition of the Italian design school, which has always set standards in this regard. Rumici's latest design, the Nimrod Desert, offers a modern and tactical backlock folder without any frills. The elegant lines are not neglected. The blade made of highly wear-resistant powder metallurgical Böhler-steel M390 has a cutting-friendly geometry with thumb opening as an opening aid and a textured thumb ramp to support powerful cuts. A glass breaker extends the tactical range of use. At the same time, it serves as a mounting point for the right-to-left switchable clip for tip-up carry. The Micarta handle with a pronounced index finger groove provides a secure grip both with and without gloves.
