The blank-firing model is high-quality and is hardly distinguishable from the original at first glance. Apart from the ejection port, some markings, and the muzzle block, the Glock 17 Gen5 9mm P.A.K. is largely identical to the original in appearance. It features a matte black slide with front serrations and an interchangeable sight, as well as a Gen5-typical polymer grip without finger grooves. Also typical of Gen5, the blank-firing version of the GLOCK 17 offers an enlarged magazine well. Together with the reversible magazine release and the ambidextrous slide stop lever, it guarantees quick action and a clean magazine change even in ambidextrous operation. The magazine itself is, like the original, 17 rounds and features a well-visible orange follower. Additionally reinforced with steel and with a round count indicator starting from the fourth shot, it leaves nothing to be desired.
