John Lee Muasashi Ichi Wakaizashi with Scabbard

Miyamoto Musashi is known as one of the most remarkable samurai in Japanese history, living from 1584 to 1645. He is praised as the best swordsman in Japan. He was a fighter, artist, and craftsman at the same time. He developed his own fighting style, which is still taught today as "Niten Ichiryu". This style employs both short and long swords simultaneously. His founding of a school for tsuba manufacturing is unforgettable. His most famous, very simple tsuba consists of two oval rings.
