Gladius type Pompeii sword with scabbard

Gladius Type Pompeii Sword with Sheath, the main weapon of the Roman legions. Short sword with a wide double-edged blade made of carbon steel EN45. The framed grip made of bone imitation features an oval crossguard and a spherical pommel made of solid wood with hand-carved motifs.
The sword tang is securely fixed to the pommel with a brass nut. A brass plate embedded in the wood of the crossguard is covered with a small piece of felt to cushion the contact between the grip and the sheath. The ornate sheath is made of wood, wrapped in leather, and adorned with brass fittings.
