- Handle wrapping made of red cotton in classic Hineri-Maki style

- with a long tang, which is fixed in the handle with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). The sword is thus fully disassemblable
- no plastic is used, only high-quality, authentic materials are employed
- blade collar (Habaki) and spacers (Seppa) are made of brass
