- Grip wrapping made of black cotton in classic Hineri Maki style

- with a long tang, which is fixed in the grip with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi)
- Blade collar (Habaki) and spacers (Seppa) are made of brass
- the traditional grip wrapping is underlaid with stingray skin imitation
- all decorative parts (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are made of metal
