The Shirasaya O-Tanto is a traditional Japanese short sword that is stored in a special, simple wooden sheath (Shirasaya). This type of tanto is inconspicuous while simultaneously offering an elegant and minimalist aesthetic.

The O-Tanto itself is generally longer and is appreciated by collectors and connoisseurs.
