The Kunai has a double-edged, long, and wedge-shaped blade. The handle is wrapped with bands, and at the end of the handle, there is a ring to which, for example, a rope with a weight or iron ring can be attached. Since the Kunai was a very common tool, it made it easy for a ninja to carry it inconspicuously and use it. They either carried it in a leather sheath on their Obi or tied diagonally around their body with a rope. Due to these circumstances, the Kunai proved itself and spread among them. The ninja could use it as a burglary tool or as a climbing aid.
