Professor Remus Lupin is the successor to the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and a friend of Harry Potter. He carries a secret within him that is revealed through unfortunate circumstances and falls into the wrong hands: Remus Lupin is a werewolf. He was a friend of Harry's father James and, as "Moony," co-creator of the Marauder's Map. He is also an active member of the Order of the Phoenix and is married to the Auror Nymphadora Tonks.
Lupin's wand has a rich brown tone with subtle dark grain. The surface is smooth. The grip is delineated by a slight decorative edge and is darker in color. The surface is very wavy, and the tip of the grip is adorned with a large ball.
