Sig Sauer P226 Co2 Pistol: Realistic Air PistolThe development of the Sig Sauer P226 was based on the earlier Sig Sauer P220, which, like many other Sig Sauer firearms, was appreciated for its reliability and precision. The Sig Sauer P226 was designed to enhance the features of the P220 and meet changing demands. The Sig Sauer P226 was introduced in 1980 and quickly gained attention. The handgun was used worldwide by various military and law enforcement agencies. Particularly noteworthy was its selection as the standard weapon of the U.S. Navy SEALs in the 1980s.

This replica of the Sig Sauer P226 is an air pistol in caliber 4.5mm. The Co2 weapon can theoretically fire both pellets and BBs. However, due to the rifled barrel, we advise against using BBs. If you do wish to use BB ammunition, please ensure that they are made of lead (softer material). The air gun is manufactured in a detailed and licensed manner, featuring all original markings. The Sig Sauer P226 is a full metal pistol, meaning that not only the slide but also the grip is made of metal. This gives the air pressure pistol an authentic weight of over 1kg. The propulsion of the air pressure weapon is provided by a Co2 cartridge. The 12g Co2 capsule is simply inserted into the grip back and pierced without tools using a lever. The Sig Sauer P226 offers you, as is common with most Co2 weapons, a strong blowback system. The slide cycles just like the real weapon. The trigger is a single action / double action trigger. The special feature of this Co2 pistol is the functional decocking lever, which serves to block the trigger mechanism and deactivate the firing pin system. When the decocking lever is activated, it prevents the trigger from being pulled and a shot from being fired, even if a cartridge is in the chamber. The manual safety can only be operated from the left.

Precise shooting is also no problem with the Sig Sauer P226 thanks to the mounted sights. These consist of a rear sight and front sight with white contrast markings. However, adjusting the rear and front sights is not possible. At the front of the barrel of the air pistol, a silencer can also be attached if needed at the 12x1 thread.
