The company was founded in 1874 and has developed and produced a wide range of handguns and long guns over time. The firearms manufacturer German Sport Guns, also known by the abbreviation GSG, produces various small-caliber firearms under the Mauser license, including the Mauser M20, Mauser 1911, and Mauser M15.

The semi-automatic rifle Mauser M15 is now also available for sports shooters! The long gun features a tactical design in full-size dimensions. The small-caliber rifle manufactured by German Sport Guns (GSG) guarantees plenty of fun at the shooting range. The Mauser M15 .22 caliber rifle fires rimfire cartridges. Small-caliber firearms are perfect for hunting small game and plinking, as the costs for ammunition do not skyrocket.

The small-caliber semi-automatic rifle also stands out due to the materials used. The upper receiver of the Mauser M15 is made from CNC-machined aluminum, while the lower receiver is made from fiberglass-reinforced but lightweight plastic. The charging handle can be set on both sides in 3 freely selectable positions. The safety lever is also operable from both sides. So you get a rifle suitable for both left-handed and right-handed shooters. The barrel of the small-caliber sports rifle is a highly precise hammer-forged barrel, making it ideal for sporting use. The rifle barrel of the Mauser M15 is 16.6 inches long. The wrapped barrel is also equipped with a muzzle thread M16x1.

The folding stock is adjustable in 3 stages for an optimal fit. For even more comfortable handling, the adjustable cheek rest provides additional support. The delivery also includes the flip-up sight. On the Picatinny rail, you can also mount another sighting optic, such as a different red dot sight or a scope, as desired. Under the barrel of the small-caliber rifle, there is a UIT rail installed. A UIT rail, also known as Anschütz rail or match rail, is a special rail that is often mounted on small-caliber rifles. This mounting rail features a rectangular groove into which mounting rings or clamps can be quickly inserted. For maximum precision, the trigger travel can be adjusted (trigger travel approx. 6 mm / trigger weight approx. 2 kg).

To ensure smooth and safe operation of the small-caliber rifle, it is necessary to use small-caliber ammunition (small-caliber ammunition) with an extra strong load. Such .22lr ammunition is referred to as "HV," which stands for High Velocity. The higher speed of the .22 lr HV ammunition ensures that the projectile has greater kinetic energy, leading to improved ballistic performance. This positively affects the precision, trajectory, and penetration power of the projectile. The delivery includes a 10-round magazine. Optionally, a 110-round drum magazine can also be purchased.

The Mauser M15 Sport is a semi-automatic weapon that has a positive determination notice from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and can therefore be purchased by sports shooters. For hunters, however, acquisition is possible with a valid annual hunting license.
