The Mauser 25 Extreme with its durable polymer stock in anthracite won't let you down even under the harshest hunting conditions.As the name suggests, the Mauser 25 Extreme is the version of the Mauser 25 bolt-action rifle that can withstand extreme hunting conditions. This is largely due to the extremely durable polymer stock – here in anthracite finish.

The Stock
The Extreme version of the Mauser 25 is characterized, as mentioned, by a one-piece polymer stock. This plastic is extremely robust. The steep pistol grip is ergonomically designed to keep the shooting hand relaxed at all times. The butt is height-adjustable to suit your individual physique. The grip surfaces are equipped with a tactile pleasant texture, and the stock cap noticeably compensates for recoil. Optionally, the rear stock of the Extreme can be varied using spacers in the range of 34.9 cm to 39.9 cm.

The System
For the bolt of the 25 Extreme, Mauser has chosen a bolt type with two support lugs, the Spread-Lock-250. It locks quickly and secures at two times 125 degrees with a locking surface of 66 mm2 in the locking socket. Thus, maximum safety does not come at the expense of cycling speed. The straight bolt handle is optimally positioned above the trigger to ensure a rapid rate of fire. The 2-position safety is easily disengaged with a thumb press. The direct trigger is infinitely adjustable between 700 g and 1,700 g trigger weight. The removable single-row magazine made of polyamide has a capacity of 3 cartridges.

The Barrel
The precision barrel of the Mauser M 25 Extreme is made of cold-forged special steel and is corrosion-resistant with a plasma oxide finish. This coating is produced under heat from nitrogen and water without the addition of chemicals. The diameter at the muzzle is 17 mm, the barrel has an M15x1 muzzle thread, and its length is 51 cm for standard calibers and 62 cm for magnum calibers.
