The Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 is a classic revolver in caliber .357 Magnum, known for its precision, quality, and versatility. It belongs to the famous K-Frame series from Smith & Wesson, which was originally developed for the caliber .38 Special but adapted for the stronger .357 Magnum. The Model 19 was first introduced in 1957 after being developed in collaboration with the legendary shooter and ballistics expert Bill Jordan. It became known as the Combat Magnum. The idea behind the Model 19 was to create a lightweight, portable revolver with the power of the .357 Magnum, while also offering the option to fire the milder .38 Special ammunition. The 3rd version was produced from 1967 to 1976 and is one of the most popular variants of the Model 19 series. It features improvements in craftsmanship and minor design changes compared to its predecessors. The cylinder capacity is 6 rounds. The S&W was tested in 1974 in Mellrichstadt and is equipped with a walnut wood grip. Additionally, our offer includes an extra Pachmayr Tripper grip.
