The Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 is a high-quality revolver designed for the .357 Magnum cartridge, but it can also fire .38 Special. The barrel length is 12.7 cm (5 inches) and the cylinder capacity is 6 rounds. This revolver is considered one of the highest quality models in the "N-Frame" revolver series from Smith & Wesson. It features a Karl Niell grip and the typical checkered pattern on the cylinder release and rear sight. The weapon is equipped with an LPA sight, which allows for precise shooting. The 27-2 is often sought after by collectors due to its excellent craftsmanship and precision. The proof mark was received by the revolver in 1977 at the proof house in Ulm. According to the serial number, it was manufactured in 1976.
