RWS RWS .30-06 ID Classic 9.7g (TIG)

The basic idea of the ID Classic is to ideally combine "width and depth effect" on target. This has been achieved by connecting two differently hard lead cores: The front soft part protrudes conically into the rear hard and heavier part. This "marriage of lead" is enclosed by a jacket made of flow steel, which continuously thickens towards the rear. The torpedo-shaped rear promotes the external ballistic behavior through higher flight stability with its one-third larger ground area. The rear core of the ID Classic projectile is more designed for expansion readiness and energy transfer in the game body. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for light to medium game.

The cutting edge punches a distinct, circular entry wound and delivers the desired cutting hair.
The front core disintegrates and releases limited fragments.
The rear harder core expands with its funnel-shaped recess and usually delivers the desired exit wound.
The jacket constriction limits the tearing of the jacket flags.
