A century of experience and the latest technical developments come together in this shotgun. This is evident not least in the significant improvements achieved in essential areas compared to the 725 predecessor model. The B825 Pro Trap High Rib Adjustable 12 comes with an extensive accessory package that allows you to customize the gun to your needs and personal physique. And the extra high rib allows you to become one with your gun in a more organic way when aiming.

The Stock
The dimensions of the 375 mm long stock made of walnut ensure an optimal view over the rib and a quick target acquisition. The height-adjustable comb allows for precise adjustment to your body shape and is the perfect complement to the extra high sight rib of this model. The surface of the stock is finished with a glossy oil finish. The pistol grip has an ergonomically perfect shape, ensuring that the shooting hand remains relaxed at all times. The grip surfaces there and on the trap forend are equipped with a pleasantly textured fish skin structure. In the Pro Trap High Rib Adjustable 12 version, the B825 can be individually balanced using the included stock and barrel weights for the Pro Balance system.

Action and Locking Mechanism
Like all shotguns from Browning, the steel action of the B825 Pro Trap High Rib Adjustable 12 features a continuous hinge and conical locking lugs. This guarantees reliability and safety. The action is kept low and has a clear line design, which facilitates recoil control and minimizes barrel rise. Its surface is coated with a silver nitrate finish. This is highly wear-resistant and effectively protects against corrosion, contributing to the longevity of the shotgun. In the Pro Trap High Rib version, the surface of the action and the forend release lever are engraved with arabesques. The trigger guard is adorned with an engraving of the Browning logo. Hammer ejectors ensure prompt ejection of the shells, and unfired cartridges are lifted for easy removal. The safety button also serves as the selector, making handling easier. The B825 is equipped with a mechanical Fire Lite 2 trigger system for optimal second shot performance. The dry, short, and quick release ensures high accuracy. In the Pro version, the trigger is adjustable in three positions. With the 3 included triggers, you can further customize the gun. The B825 Pro Trap High Rib Adjustable 12 is designed for the caliber 12/76.

The High Rib Barrels
The B825 features Back Bored barrels with an enlarged bore diameter and an extended transition cone. This construction principle increases speed and ensures better penetration. The fan rib, tapering from 11 mm to 8 mm, keeps the barrels cool and avoids distortion from heat mirage. It is designed to be extra high in this model. This has the advantage that the head does not need to be bent forward when aiming. In combination with the adjustable comb, the shotgun rests well against the cheek, providing better support and thus higher control during the shot. Additionally, when shouldering, the barrels are taken out of sight. The Browning 825 uses the proven Invector DS Pro Extended chokes. These press against the barrel walls, thereby protecting the threads and are still effective after heavy use.
