BALLISTOL QUICK-BLACKENING - 50 ML

With this quick bluing, steel (up to 3% chromium content) and iron can be blued without spots.
Whether damaged bluing on long and short firearms, complete firearm bluing, or the bluing of small parts in crafts and industry: The quick bluing saves lengthy bluing baths, time, and money.
Even zinc die-cast parts, such as those found in signal pistols, can be processed.
Simple treatment: Degrease the surface, apply the bluing agent, let it act, rinse with water, dry, and spray with gun oil.
Application of Ballistol Schnell-Brünierung should only be applied to untreated or repairable areas, as it can visually alter an existing bluing.

Clean metal parts or the areas to be blackened with cold degreaser
Polish the areas to be blued with fine steel wool to remove any surface oxidation
Clean again with the degreaser – after degreasing, do not touch the metal surface with your fingers to avoid new fingerprints
Apply quick bluing with an applicator for bluing – let the bluing agent act for about 3 minutes until a yellowish-white coating forms
Then rinse the parts with cold water and pat the surfaces dry with a soft cloth
If you want to intensify the coloring, repeat steps 3 to 5 – if very deep colors are to be achieved, these steps can also be repeated multiple times
Conserve the new bluing with gun oil
