The propellant powder RS62 was originally developed for the .270 Win. caliber, but is also excellent for .30-06 Spring cartridges. The brisance is close to that of RS60, however, RS62 operates with a significantly lower energy content, making it even more barrel-friendly. A true alternative for shooters looking for a straightforward, honest, easy-to-use propellant powder for magnum cartridges with lighter and medium-weight projectiles. It is commonly intended for the following calibers:

Powder Type
The RS62 is an extruded single-base propellant powder based on nitrocellulose. The surface treatment is done with camphor. This achieves a balanced temperature behavior with moderate pressure at higher temperatures.

The propellant powder can be safely used for up to 10 years with proper storage. The lot-to-lot testing tolerance is:
