The Falke S has undergone a long development process of over 18 months and has been available since autumn 2019. The goal was to develop a Red Dot that meets the high expectations of particularly demanding users, including authorities. The optics feature a lightweight yet very durable aluminum housing that protects the technology and electronics inside. Even during a 10-meter dive, temperatures ranging from -60° to +70°, and the shooting test with .338 Lapua Magnum, the reflex sight proved itself. With finely adjustable brightness levels, it can be used at any time of day and also in combination with a night vision device. Thanks to the quick-release mount, it can be quickly mounted, dismounted, or adjusted. The LED lens has a high-quality coating, sits flush with the housing, and can be easily cleaned. The nearly new battery system originally comes from the medical field and extends the battery life significantly. According to the manufacturer, continuous use at medium settings could last up to 22 years on a single battery.
