Sarriugarte Model FS Lince double-barreled shotgun. Manufactured around 1983. The company Sarriugarte was a long-established Spanish shotgun manufacturer. Specializing in hunting and sporting shotguns, Sarriugarte supplied shotguns in the mid to high-quality and price segment primarily to the USA from the 1950s until 1985. After the merger of several Spanish shotgun manufacturers (including Sarriugarte) into Diarm, this company went bankrupt in 1986. Frankonia Jagd purchased selected shotguns from the Sarriugarte stock around 1988. The offer sold out in no time. The FS Lince model is a very good utility shotgun for hunting and hunting trap shooting. Black blued steel action with simple arabesques on all surfaces. Robust modified double Purdey lock with 2 strong locking lugs and a split square cross bolt similar to the Kersten lock. The barrel bundle is deeply embedded in the action. 71 cm exposed barrels with brass bead and ventilated approximately 6.5 mm wide rib with line engraving to reduce glare and ejectors. Manual sliding safety on the stock neck and single trigger with selector. Polished walnut stock. Buttstock with pistol grip with fine checkering, straight comb, slight schnabel forend, and plastic butt plate with embossed checkering. Raised wide forend with deep elongated finger groove and checkering. Stock with slight pressure points on the schnabel and 3 stronger pressure points. Lead shot: Eibar Spain around 1983.
