The drilling construction has a long tradition at Heym.
At all times, the experts in hunting weapon manufacturing at Heym have managed to set standards and produce functional drillings of above-average quality.
With the Heym models 37 and 37 B, another milestone in drilling construction has been set at Heym.
The traditional drilling has been adapted to the requirements of today's times.
Quality, durability, and above all, functional safety were the most significant guiding principles.
The Heym side lock with its nearly break-proof spiral spring and the top-mounted catch bar leaves nothing to be desired in terms of function and safety.
The separately built-in ball or shot lock tension allows each desired barrel to be carried always loaded, but relaxed.
The safety slide is conveniently located on the right, close to the bolt lever on the plate.
This allows for immediate deactivation without having to change grip when raising the weapon.
The box and lock plate are milled from high-quality, rust-resistant steel in one piece. This gives corrosion little chance and guarantees a long service life.
You can recognize the craftsmanship in detail piece by piece in the precisely fitted stock made of seasoned walnut, the hand-cut checkering, the precisely fitted lock plates, and the carefully engraved decorations.
The weapon features a Suhl hook mounting, on which a Zeiss Diavari 2.5-10x50 with reticle 4 in the first image plane is installed.
As an additional option, a better stock wood was chosen.
In the right shotgun barrel, an insert barrel in caliber .222 Rem. is installed.
