The Nitecore TM9K is powered by a high-performance 21700 Li-Ion battery with 5000 mAh, enabling an extreme brightness of 9500 lumens over a range of 268 meters. The integrated battery can be charged to 80% in less than two hours via the USB-C port integrated into the lamp head. The lamp is controlled by two switches on the end cap. The main switch is used to turn the lamp on and off as well as to operate the momentary light function. The mode switch, on the other hand, is used to activate the five different modes (9500/1900/460/130/30 lumens) as well as the strobe. The lamp is also equipped with a mode memory function that saves the last used brightness mode and reactivates it after being turned off and on again. This is particularly interesting for tactical use. A small LED light on the end cap continuously indicates the charge status. A constantly activated lighting electronics ensures continuous illumination of the lamp, and a temperature regulation system adjusts the lamp's brightness when the housing becomes too warm, allowing for trouble-free long-term use.
