It is an evolution of the successful 692 series. Thanks to the B-FAST stock adjustment, the stock can be perfectly tailored to the shooting habits, shooting style, and physique of the shooter.

The Stock
The stock, with its steep grip angle, increased grip volume, and wide radius of the stock back, ensures maximum shooting comfort as well as a stable, relaxed, and secure position of the shooting hand. The progressive curve of the profile obscures the field of view less and allows for better aiming and more precise shots. The integrated B-FAST balancer in the buttstock allows for adjustment to individual needs with up to 4 interchangeable weights (20 or 40 g). The round forend is suitable for all hand sizes and tactile habits. The forend attachment features a self-regulating opening slider that extends maintenance intervals and prevents premature rattling. Additionally, it guarantees a permanently play-free and adjustable hinge action. The metal surface has been reduced to minimize heat transfer to the palm. The checkering on the grip surfaces feels pleasant in the hands. The walnut wood is protected from weather influences by an oil finish.

Action and Trigger
The weight of the action of the 694 Sporting AS has been increased by 25 g compared to previous models, resulting in improved swing behavior. The side lock ensures a smooth shot release with minimal tipping. The over-and-under shotgun is equipped with a selective single trigger with a switch in the safety slider. It can only be operated in the safe mode, preventing unintentional switching. The trigger blade can be locked in three positions, allowing it to be adjusted to hand size and finger length. The ergonomic release lever has a matte anti-reflective finish that prevents optical disturbances during target acquisition.

Barrels and Chokes
The Steelium-Plus barrels with a transition cone of 360 mm significantly reduce recoil and muzzle rise, allowing for better perception of hit location. Beretta's Optima-Chokes High Performance (OCHP) are made from high-strength steel and coated with a corrosion-resistant nickel alloy layer. OCHP chokes optimize the concentration and distribution of the shot pattern.
