Sauer 505 Synchro XTC Left-Handed Weapon

The Stock
This carbon stock gives your Sauer 505 rifle high stability and excellent ergonomics, ensuring extremely comfortable mounting, aiming, and shooting in every shooting position. The steep grip and the palm swell design – here for left-handed shooters – combined with the height-adjustable comb provide optimal contact with any optical system you use. The stock length is 36.5 mm. Carbon is very lightweight yet robust, but its most important feature is its damping property, which maximally compensates for recoil. With the Sauer 505 Synchro XTC Black rifle, the shooting hand remains completely relaxed, significantly increasing the hit rate.

The System
A special advantage is the design of the heart of the Sauer 505 rifle. Its system – here configured for left-handed hunters – is equipped with an extremely smooth one-piece bolt housed in a solid steel casing. The bolt is also made of steel. It is longer than that of the predecessor Sauer 404 and made from a single piece. This significantly reduces friction losses compared to the same components made of aluminum and provides you with a smooth chambering and a quiet cycling, making it a tactile experience every time.

The Hand Safety
The particularly lightweight and secure hand safety of the Sauer 404 rifle has been further developed for the successor model. The operating comfort is noticeably increased. With a light thumb pressure, the rifle can be cocked before the shot and just as easily released afterward to safely unload the rifle.

The Trigger
A perfectly adjusted trigger with the right individual resistance is a prerequisite for a good shot. If the trigger malfunctions, the shot will be pulled down. To ensure the trigger is always dry, the Sauer 505 features a Quattro trigger, allowing you to choose between four weight settings. Depending on your individual needs, you can set the resistance to 350 g, 750 g, 1,000 g, and 1,250 g. The adjustment is simple and hassle-free with a few hand movements while the fore-end is uncocked. You only need the universal key, which is placed in the fore-end.

The Barrel
The Sauer 505 Synchro XT Black bolt-action rifle is equipped with a cold-hammered barrel, just like the Sauer 404 rifle. This allows for highly precise shots. The muzzle diameter is either 17 mm or 19 mm, depending on the caliber, and the muzzle is fitted with an M15x1 thread for a sound suppressor. The barrel lengths range from 47 cm to 56 cm, depending on the caliber. The barrels of the Sauer 505 and its other steel surfaces are effectively protected against corrosion by plasma nitriding. By the way, the stocks and barrels are compatible with the Sauer 404, so you can use them with your old rifle and the new 505 rifle.

The Magazine
The magazine is made of robust polymer plastic. This makes it lighter than that of the Sauer 404, which is made of metal. The magazines are each designed for the selected calibers and hold 2 to 5 cartridges. The integrated magazine safety MagLock prevents unintentional activation of the magazine button.
