With the Beretta BRX1, the Italian traditional company enters the product segment of straight-pull repeaters. The company incorporates decades of experience from shooting ranges worldwide into the development and always keeps a keen eye on the market. The BRX1 meets the demands that a straight-pull repeater must fulfill, such as a quick, smooth cycling process and reliable system functionality, as well as high precision even during rapid fire sequences, and has implemented these innovatively. The high magazine capacity, even with Magnum calibers, and the possibility of quick magazine changes once again reflect the current zeitgeist of the company. The black-coated barrel of the rifle is made from cold-hammered high-performance steel. Emphasis was also placed on high intrinsic precision, achieved through fine tuning of the various elements, as well as a precise coaxial bedding of the barrel axis and chamber. The stable and particularly large-area barrel bedding ensures that even after a barrel change, only minimal deviations in the point of impact occur. The bolt is based on the proven military Beretta assault rifles, whose priorities have always been durability and reliability. The straight-pull bolt used here was designed for standard calibers with 8 and for Magnum calibers with double-arranged 16 lugs to ensure maximum durability and functionality. Linear straight-pull system

Very fast and instinctive cycling motion without jerking or sticking.
Pure backward and forward movement, no additional rotational or lever movement required.
Grip-friendly position of the chamber handle directly above the trigger.
Chamber handle with 45º angle allows optimal power transfer.
Unwanted disturbances of both cycling movements are avoided.

Universal system
The chamber handle can be easily and quickly switched for both right- and left-handed operation. No special tools required.

Integrated ejector in the bolt head
The ejection direction can be freely chosen; the bolt head is simply rotated 180º. The ejection direction is independent of the mounting direction of the chamber handle. No special tools required.
BRX1 bolt system

The bolt is based on the system of military Beretta assault rifles, with maximum durability and reliability being the highest priority.
The true straight-pull bolt utilizes a rotating bolt head with 8 stable lugs for standard calibers and 16 lugs arranged in double rows for Magnum calibers.
This bolt system (both standard and Magnum versions) has successfully passed the most extreme NATO load and pressure tests. The gas pressure tests common in military weapons, some with additional barrel obstructions, are significantly more demanding than in purely civilian contexts.
