Six-shot pepperbox percussion revolver by Jr Cooper, from the 19th century.
3-inch barrel, smooth bore, barrel inner diameter approx. 7.5mm

Trigger made as a ring trigger, double action system, under-hammer, proofed in Birmingham.

Left side plate engraved with “J. R. COOPER / PATENT” for the manufacturer James Rock Cooper.
Right side plate with ornamental engraving.

John Rock Cooper patented this design in 1843 and manufactured these revolvers until 1853.
