The name of this variant comes from actual records of the Sauer factory found in the Suhl archive. An interim pistol manufactured between 1926 and early 1929. Available only in caliber 7.65 mm. This was an evolution of the standard design from 1913, which included changes: (1) the design of the safety lever, which also became a slide device; (2) the shape of the frame was modified so that the trigger guard became more streamlined and the back of the frame was shortened, and the slide as well as the cocking knob were provided with notches. These appear in the range of 162000 to 169000 in relatively small clusters. It is believed that two to four thousand pieces were produced. A rare Sauer pistol! Here is a very rare nickel-plated model.
