Marten box

A construction for stone and tree martens – also usable as a live trap! The marten box is attached to a tree in the forest, in barns and buildings on the wall. The interior is lined with hay or straw and baited with eggs. A log or board is placed at the entrance. Side, lockable inspection window. Side wall can be opened for easy cleaning and setting of the trapping mechanism. The internal trap door is red on the outside for easy checking when something has been caught.
