And this is how the »W 2« works:
With the self-triggering model W2, the mouse is not killed by a mechanical strike as with conventional traps, but by the high gas pressure of a special cartridge, which instantly tears the mole's lungs apart, thus killing it immediately and humanely.
The loaded device is placed with the muzzle in the exposed mouse tunnel, cocked, and deactivated. After a short time, the mole will try to close the tunnel again, as it does not like light or fresh air. The mole may push soil in front of the self-triggering mechanism, which often leads to failure with conventional traps. However, this does not matter with the “W 2”. The high gas pressure of the performance-enhanced special cartridge cal. 9 x 17 yellow kills the mole even through 5 cm of pushed soil instantly and often propels it back up to 30 cm in the tunnel.
