The unique feature here is the L: The Thunder TQ50CL 3.0 has an integrated laser rangefinder. Finally, 3.0 stands for the version of the device. With the 3.0 version of the Thunder TQ50CL, HikMicro has made some significant improvements to the already excellent riflescope attachment with the 50 mm lens:
improved the NETD value from ≤20 mK to ≤15 mK,updated the Image Pro algorithm to version 2.0,increased the display size to 0.49‘‘ (1,920x1,080 px),HSIS (HikMicro Shutterless Image System),image stabilization system, andreplaceable batteries.Otherwise, you can still rely on the usual HikMicro reliability with this attachment for your daytime optics.

The laser rangefinder
The CL version of the Thunder TQ50 3.0 has, as mentioned, an integrated laser rangefinder in the lens. It is a Class 1 laser with a wavelength of 905 nm and a range of 1,000 m. It measures very precisely: up to 300 m with an accuracy of ±1 m, beyond that with ±2 m. The minimum measurement range is only 10 m. The laser rangefinder features a ballistic calculator.

Image quality and range
The highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor of the Thunder TQ50CL was manufactured in-house by HikMicro. It has a resolution of 640x512 px, a pixel pitch of 12 µm, and a NETD value of ≤15 mK. This allows even the smallest thermal differences between the game and its surroundings to be detected, regardless of weather and lighting conditions. The HikMicro algorithm of version 2.0 processes the data into clear and high-contrast images, which can be viewed in 6 color modes on the enlarged 1,920×1,080 px OLED display:
Black Hot,White Hot,Red Hot,Fusion,Red monochrome, andGreen monochrome.A recoil-activated video recording ensures that your shots are documented. The display features a picture-in-picture (PiP) function, allowing you to keep an overview while still examining details. The Thunder TQ50CL is also equipped with a tilt sensor. The detection range is 2,600 m, the identification range is 600 m, and the field of view at 100 m is 15.4x12.3 m.

User-friendly, robust, and recoil-proof
The housing of the TQ50CL attachment is made of a magnesium alloy, and the lens cover is magnetic. It is recoil-proof and waterproof according to protection class IP67. The operation is intuitive and can also be managed in the dark via the top-mounted buttons and the focus button. You can use the attachment at up to 90% humidity and at temperatures from -30 °C to 55 °C. Its design, with an even weight distribution of 540 g, does not affect the balance of the rifle. The replaceable and rechargeable battery pack ensures continuous operation for up to 5 hours.
