Light and compact
A low weight is particularly important when the attachment is mounted on the weapon and complements the weight of the weapon. The compact size of the device facilitates operation and storage.
Highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor
The microbolometer with NETD <40 mK ensures the detection of details at low temperature contrast. Rain, snow, fog, early morning after a cold night - the Proton XQ clearly shows the slightest temperature differences when observing under the most unfavorable conditions for the hunter and the equipment.
Stable point of impact
A sequential layout of optical and electronic components, as well as a high-precision optical and software alignment, allows the shooter to disregard the presence of the attachment in front of the lens of the optical sight when shooting at night and to make no additional adjustments when aiming. The design of the attachment ensures a stable point of impact when mounted in front of the daylight scope and when the attachment is refocused at different distances.
Quick-release adapter with a mechanism for precise positioning of the display of the attachment in the field of view of the optics
The Proton XQ30 is coupled to the daylight optics using a new Pulsar PSP adapter. The adapter is quickly detachable - the attachment can be removed and reattached in seconds. The precise positioning mechanism allows for perfect centering of the thermal image in the field of view of the daylight optics to achieve maximum observation comfort.
Recoil-resistant for large calibers: 12 gauge, 9.3×64, .375H&H
Proven shock resistance - up to 6000 J - for flawless performance with large-caliber rifles and smoothbore hunting firearms (12 gauge, 9.3x64, .375H&H)
Easy conversion of the attachment into a thermal imaging observation device (Please check the hunting laws in your state)
A few seconds and a Pulsar 5x30B monocular are enough to remove the Proton XQ30 from the scope and transform it into a thermal imaging observation device with 5x magnification. The Pulsar 5x30B monocular can be easily and securely connected to the thermal imaging attachment via a bayonet mount and is just as easy to remove. An important feature is that the PSP adapter, with which the Proton XQ30 is mounted on the optical sight, can remain on the thermal imaging attachment when used with the Pulsar 5x30B monocular. This ensures that the Proton XQ30 can be easily and quickly converted from an attachment to a thermal monocular and back.
Shock-resistant housing made of magnesium alloy
The robust and lightweight housing made of a magnesium alloy has high structural rigidity, protects the attachment from shocks and vibrations when firing large-caliber hunting firearms, and ensures stable ballistic performance during operation. The metal housing, resistant to external mechanical, temperature, and climatic influences, effectively dissipates heat from the electronic components of the attachment, thereby increasing the quality of its operation.
Wi-Fi. Integration with iOS and Android devices using the free Stream Vision app
The integrated Wi-Fi module enables connectivity of the Proton attachment with Android or iOS smartphones and tablets using the free Stream Vision application. In combination with a smartphone, the thermal imaging device offers a range of unique features such as live image streaming to a smartphone, motion detection, transfer and sharing of multimedia files, firmware updates, remote control of device settings, and many more.
8 color tone palettes
The eight-color tone palette facilitates observation, solves a variety of tasks, and allows for a quick response to changing observation conditions. The palettes White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, while the Rainbow and Ultramarine palettes enhance recognition and identification functions. The Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet palettes are best suited for long-term observation at night.
IPX7 waterproof
IPX7 waterproof to protect against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The Proton is designed to function flawlessly even after immersion in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
High-contrast AMOLED display
The AMOLED display delivers a sharp, high-contrast image. The display is characterized by low power consumption, a wide dynamic range, and a short response time, ensuring sharp and smooth imaging when observing in motion or in frost.
Quick-change APS5 battery
The high-performance Li-Ion quick-change APS5 battery provides up to 6 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The safety and durability of APS5 batteries are ensured by built-in electronic protection systems. The battery can be removed from the battery compartment in seconds and replaced with a new one.
