The lead-free Hornady Outfitter CX cartridges, here in caliber 7 mm Rem Mag with 9.7 g and 150 grs., were developed for the toughest demands.
Maximum corrosion protection, performance, and a convincing result best describe the Outfitter CX series. The rifle cartridges feature a sealed interior and a nickel-plated case, providing ideal protection against moisture. The monolithic CX™*-bullet is completely fragment-free and offers an extended effective range, better precision, a retained weight of over 95%, and thus also an impressive momentary and deep impact. The shape of the bullet has been adapted to European cartridge chambers and barrel dimensions. Innovative relief grooves of the CX bullet improve aerodynamic performance while simultaneously reducing leaf deposits. The flat and heat-resistant polymer tip (Heat Shield®) ensures quick expansion even at low impact velocities. It provides resistance to aerodynamic heating and maintains a consistently high ballistic coefficient throughout the entire trajectory. This bullet is suitable for practically all hunting and game types.
