The grip is 8 mm longer than the standard version. Nevertheless, the PDP Full Size OR 4“ has retained its compactness, with the grip circumference at trigger height measuring 148 mm, just like the Compact version. The PDP Full Size OR 4“ functions reliably at all times, under harsh conditions as well as during relaxed use at the shooting range.

The Haptics
When it comes to handling the Walther PDP Full Size OR 4“, two factory-developed technologies from Walther are worth mentioning: “SuperTerrain Serrations” refers to the raised grip grooves at the front and back of the slide. Even in wet weather, fingers do not slip during loading. “Performance Duty Texture” refers to the surface of the grip, which, with its tetrahedral structure, does not irritate the skin even during prolonged firm gripping and allows the hand to become one with the pistol haptically. The arrangement of the elements allows for intuitive operation of the pistol, enabling you to focus entirely on your target.

The Ergonomic Design
In addition to its surface, the shape of the grip has also been modified. It has been extended by 8 mm and thus dimensioned for strong hands. The end of the grip is designed to provide support for the little finger. The grip angle automatically leads to optimal trigger behavior. This is accompanied by the optimization of the position, travel, and pressure point of the trigger, a “Performance Duty Trigger.” The trigger is intuitive and controlled, reachable with the finger at 70 mm. The pressure point is at 25 N, and the clear break enhances accuracy. The ergonomics of the PDP Full Size OR 4“ also ensure that the red dot of the popular Walther sights is captured ad hoc.

The Magazine
Not only has the grip been extended on the PDP Full Size OR 4“, but the magazine capacity has also increased by 3 rounds to 18. The staggered cartridge chamber allows for reliable feeding of the cartridge, which provides the PDP with more muzzle energy and reduces residue in the pistol. A loaded indicator signals whether it is chambered. The PDP features trigger, firing pin, and safety (interrupter) safeties.

Extended Sight Optics
If you wish to equip your Walther PDP F 4" with a sight optic, this can be done with minimal effort. If you do not wish to use one, a cover plate for the interface is included in the delivery.
