Citadel Yushu Katana

The sword rightfully bears the name Yushu (Eng. "Perfection"). The many elaborate details make it a top-class work of art. The grip end (Kashira) and grip collar (Fuchi) are made of iron, coated with simple yet elegant black high-gloss lacquer. The Tsuba, also made of iron, is not cast but handcrafted. It depicts a Japanese temple with cherry blossoms (Sakura no Hana) in the foreground.
