Extremely rare Colt Model 1908 of the Shanghai Municipal Police with the number 24 (Police Issue Number). A total of 3,000 pieces of the modified Colt 1908 were delivered to the Shanghai Municipal Police Department under the then leadership of William Ewart Fairbairn. The weapon includes some important technical changes that were exclusively implemented by Colt at Fairbairn's request. The weapon offered here with the number 24 comes from the very first delivery and from his personal weapon collection, manufacturing year 1925. The bluing is in good condition, collector's item.
