The Walther PDP Full Size OR 5.1" Pro SD shines with all the performance of the PDP series – and some moreIf you choose the 5.1" Pro SD version of the Walther PDP Full Size OR series, you will receive some factory upgrades right away:
the full-size grip with a 4.5” slide,the 5.1” barrel with a muzzle thread (½”-28 UNEF) for the application of a suppressor,the Dynamic Performance Trigger,an aluminum magwell for faster magazine changes, and3 instead of 2 18-round magazines with an aluminum base pad.
The handling of the full-size pistol corresponds to that of the compact version, with a grip circumference at trigger height of 148 mm. The PDP Full Size OR 5.1" Pro SD is robust and always functions reliably, under harsh conditions as well as during relaxed use at the shooting range.

The Haptics
When it comes to handling the Walther PDP Full Size OR 5.1" Pro SD, two factory-developed technologies from Walther should be mentioned: “SuperTerrain Serrations” refers to the raised grip grooves at the front and back of the slide. Even in wet weather, fingers do not slip while chambering. “Performance Duty Texture” refers to the surface of the grip, which, with its tetrahedral structure, does not irritate the skin even during prolonged firm gripping and allows the hand to become one with the pistol haptically. The arrangement of the elements allows for intuitive operation of the pistol, enabling you to fully concentrate on your target. Even when used with gloves, the PDP Full Size OR 5.1" Pro SD is reliable and precise.

The Ergonomic Design
The end of the grip is designed to provide support for the little finger. The grip angle automatically leads to optimal trigger behavior. The sight line is low for quick target acquisition. This is accompanied by the optimization of the position, travel, and pressure point of the trigger, here a “Dynamic Performance Trigger.” The trigger is intuitive and controlled, easily reachable with the finger. The pressure point is at 22 N, and the clear break increases accuracy.

The Magazine
The capacity of the magazine has been increased in the PDP Full Size OR 5.1" Pro SD compared to the compact version by 3 rounds to 18. It features an aluminum base pad. The stepped cartridge chamber allows for reliable feeding of the cartridge, which provides the PDP with more muzzle energy and reduces residue in the pistol. A magwell, also made of aluminum, enables even faster magazine changes in use. The PDP Full Size OR 5.1" Pro SD includes 1 additional magazine in the package. A loaded chamber indicator signals whether it is chambered. The PDP has trigger, firing pin, and safety (disconnector) safeties.

Extended Sight Optics
If you want to equip your Walther PDP Full Size OR 5.1" Pro SD with a sight optic, this can be done easily with a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail. If you do not wish to use this, a cover plate for the Picatinny rail mounting device is included in the package.
