All proven Beretta technologies are employed in the A400 Upland Kick-Off Plus.

The Stock
The stock is equipped with Beretta's "Kick Off Plus" technology. Two elastomer shock absorbers in the rubber insert reduce the perception of the first recoil peak by up to 40%. An additional elastomer shock absorber in the fore-end compensates for the impact of the bolt on the stock, thereby contributing to the reduction of the second recoil peak, the torque effect, and vibrations. The stock is divided into a comb and pistol grip ("B-Steady-System"), preventing slipping at the cheek rest. The pistol grip is ergonomically designed, ensuring that the shooting hand remains relaxed. All of this ensures faster target acquisition for the next shot.

The Gas System
The "B-Link" gas system is more than a third faster than comparable shotguns. It is self-cleaning and features gas ports that reduce mechanical friction. The precise rotary lock automatically returns to the closed position. These characteristics make the system extremely fast, robust, and reliable.

The Barrel
The A400 Xplor Upland is equipped with a Steelium barrel with a double cone, which provides better recoil behavior. The barrel has a 6x6 mm flat ventilated rib with a fiber optic bead. It is used with the Beretta Optima-HP chokes made of steel. Their nickel alloy coating gives them high corrosion resistance.

The Magazine
The "B-Lok" magazine cap is securely closed with a 60° turn, and multiple turns are no longer necessary. The shotgun can also be easily opened and closed while wearing gloves.
