New features of the Glock 19 Gen5 include the ambidextrous slide stop lever, the modified barrel (Glock Marksman Barrel, GMB) that enhances precision, and the improved sights that provide a larger gap between the rear and front sights.

Moreover, the magazine well has been revised, and an orange cartridge indicator has been implemented. This ensures that the shooter can clearly see the empty magazine even in poor lighting conditions.
