The remains of the military proof mark and the military acceptance marks are still present on the bolt housing and the barrel lug bears the number 33 as part of the serial number. There are no recognisable marks on the barrel. The bolt bears the military proof mark of the DWM company on the side of the front joint and the number 33 as the last two digits of the serial number. The centre joint bears the DWM trademark and the last two digits of the serial number on the rear joint. The only mark on the front of the grip is the serial number 70633. The weapon is fitted with beautifully preserved original wooden grip panels with chequering. The magazine in the weapon is a reproduction.
