You can find our current auction catalogue and additional offers on our website www.thies-schmid-waffenauktionen.deMatching-numbered, reworked and newly blued with fine grain semi-automatic pistol model P 38 manufactured by Mauserwerke in Oberndorf am Neckar in 1944 (coded byf 44) in calibre 9mm Luger with serial number 6506. The slide bears the following inscription on the left side; P. 38 the coded manufacturer above the year, byf 44 and furthermore the serial number 6506. On the right side of the breech is the military proof mark eagle HK between two military proof marks, stylised eagle above WaA 135. The barrel with rough barrel profile shows the serial number 6506 on the front of the barrel block and on the left side the military proof mark stylised eagle above 135 and furthermore the military proof mark eagle HK. The bolt bears the serial number 6506 on the underside, the proof mark eagle HK on the left side and the military proof mark stylised eagle over WaA 135 on the opposite side. The weapon has brown Bakelite grip panels and the magazine with scarring on the body is marked P 38 and bears no proof mark.
