Produktbeschreibung: Sakura Ishime Katana by Toshiro Swords. Special attention is paid to the quality and functionality of the swords during production. Sakura means cherry blossom. This motif is an important element of Asian culture. The blade is forged from high carbon content carbon steel in the traditional Shinogi Zukuri style. It is a Maru Kitae blade, fully hardened to approximately 55 HRC. It is solid and a real cutting tool. You can feel this immediately when you hold the sword in your hand. The blade has an extreme sharpness. It is completely sharpened and has no false edge towards the handle, as is often the case with other swords. The handle of the sword is made of solid wood and is adorned with genuine, red-dyed same. The handle features 2 Mekugi that securely hold the blade. The handle wrapping is made of noble cotton. The sword sheath is designed in the high-quality Ishime style with black lacquer and features a thick, woven sageo cord in black.
