The Musashi Katana from Toshiro Swords features a massive Shinogi Zukuri blade made of folded steel. Additionally, the blade has Niku, making it very stable and suitable for very hard cutting targets. The blade is sharpened and has a hardness of 60 HRC at the edge. The blade is secured for a good grip with 2 Mekugi wooden pins in the handle. The sword is designed for cutting exercises with tatami mats and bamboo. The handle is made of solid wood and the black handle wrap made of synthetic fiber is wrapped in Katate Maki. A special technique also known as war wrapping.
