Tsuno-Gaeshi were traditionally used on samurai swords, especially on wakizashi and tanto. This element is designed to prevent the sword or knife from slipping forward out of the belt. Made of horn. Made in Japan. Length approx. 3.2 cm, height (without block for attachment): approx. 1 cm. The block with which the element is secured in the Saya has the dimensions: 0.6 x 0.9 x 0.8 cm. This element is missing on many modern produced samurai swords and is therefore ideal for retrofitting or for building a new Saya.
