Hikmicro Thunder TE19C 2.0 thermal imaging attachment

The HIKMICRO THUNDER TE 19c 2.0 thermal imaging attachment is equipped with a high thermal sensitivity of less than 35 mK (@25°C), F=1.0, which ensures perfect detail recognition even under the most difficult weather conditions, for example, when the object and background have only a minimal temperature difference. The 4 different color palettes (black hot, white hot, red hot, and fusion) are also helpful in this regard. With its long operating time of up to 10 hours per battery charge, the monocular is primarily used in scenarios such as hunting, searching, and rescue.

The uncooled VOx sensor with a resolution of 256 x 192 pixels at a pixel pitch of 12µm delivers an excellent image for its class despite its comparatively low resolution. The detection range is 1,000 m.

Thanks to its housing made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy, the attachment is particularly robust and durable. Without the battery, it weighs just 499 g. It features a common M52x0.75 threaded connection, thus opening up a wide range of possible clamp adapters. It is waterproof and dustproof according to IP67.

The powerful lens with a focal length of 19 mm/F1.0 provides a large field of view (HxV) of 16.2 x 12.1 m at 100 m. Ideal for sitting at night.

The THUNDER TE 19c 2.0 is equipped with a high-resolution 0.39-inch OLED display with 1024 x 768 pixels. This allows you to reliably detect even the smallest differences.

The device is powered by a removable Li-ion battery. The charging voltage is 4.2 V. With a capacity of 3.6 V / 4.4 Ah (15.84 Wh), it provides an operating time of up to 10 hours. Since the delivery includes 2 batteries, nothing stands in the way of an extended night sit. Hikmicro explicitly points out that the batteries should be charged for more than 4 hours before first use.

Thanks to the revision of the controls and the new software, the Thunder 2.0 models can be operated even more intuitively than their predecessors, such as: recoil-activated recording, 5 different zeroing profiles, as well as personalized settings for brightness and contrast. With the HIKMICRO Sight app (available for Apple and Android), not only can live streaming be done, but it also offers downloads of recorded footage, remote control of the device, and the possibility for firmware updates.
